Here is how you make Seared Scallops with Asian Green Beans:

In a large heavy-based skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of the oil. Add the scallops and sprinkle them with salt. Sear the scallops over high heat for 1 1/2 minutes on a side or just until they are cooked on the outside, but not all the way through. Remove the scallops from the pan and transfer them to a plate. Set them aside until ready to use.Without wiping out the skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the ginger, garlic and chili peppers. Book the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 30 seconds.Add the green beans and continue cooking, still stirring, for 2 minutes.Add the water, soy sauce and vinegar. Cover the pan and cook the beans for 1 minute more.Meanwhile, thread the scallops on the skewers. Set the skewers on the green beans.
