Simmer cooked bacon & onion in pot, until onion is soft, add beans again & 8 cups of water & salt and pepper to taste. Let simmer and cube 2 raw potatoes and add to pot. (If cooking this right before supper, let pot boil for 10 mins, then add potato's), otherwise turn off burner and let sit until ready to eat.
