3 medium stalks organic celery, chopped
3 medium organic carrots, peeled and chopped
1 clove organic garlic, minced
1 medium organic onion, chopped
1.5 cups of mushrooms, chopped into quarters
1/4 cup organic all purpose unbleached flour
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cups made up beef stock from 1 Organic Beef cube & water
Salt & Pepper to taste

Here is how you make Homemade Hearty Beef Stew (Slow Cooked):

Cut stewing beef into 1 1/2 inch cubes and place in a pre-heated on high slow cooker. In a small bowl combine flour with salt & pepper to taste. Add flour to beef and stir until beef is well coated. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, beef stock, worcestershire sauce and paprika combine well. Add carrots, celery, mushrooms and potatoes and stir all ingredients. A Bay leaf can be added (optional). Continue to slow cook on high setting for 5 hours, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low for the final 30 minutes.
