5 T curry powder
1/2 c flour
6 c water
3 beef bouillon cubes
2 - 3 tsp salt
3 T vegetable oil

Here is how you make Curried Beef Stew:

Mix the flour and half the curry powder together. Add beef to the mixture. Toss to coat all sides.In a large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add beef to hot oil and brown on all sides. Cover with water, add bouillon, and cook covered for 1.5 hours or until beef is tender. Add vegetables and cook until potatoes and carrots are tender. Cook the remaining curry powder in a bit of sesame or peanut oil on low heat (to get rid of the raw taste). Add it to the mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until the stew thickens.
