How Do I Make Crusty White Bread?

Here is how you make Crusty White Bread:

Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Activate yeast with 1 cup of warm water in a large bowl. Add melted butter, sugar, salt and milk. Stir till ingredients are dissolved. Add 2 cups of flour, stir with a large spoon. Ad remaining flour 1/4 cup at a time (you may not use all the flour) until the dough forms in to a ball that doesn't stick to the sides of the bowl. Flour a table or counter top and knead the dough for 10 minutes, place in a clean bowl, cover with a towel and place in a warm area for 1 hour. Remove dough and punch down/knead for 3 minutes, then flatten with a rolling pin into a rectangle - roll by the short side into a loaf slightly longer than your loaf pan. Place loaf in greased loaf pan. Cover with the towel again and return to warm spot for 1 hour. Place in oven and bake for 30 minutes.
