1 egg, beaten
1/2 cup milk
1 cup Napa Cabbage, shredded
2 tbsp Mayonnaise (homemade is best!)
3 Radishes, grated
4 Green Onions, chopped fine
1 Jalapeño Pepper, julienned
2 carrots, grated
1/2-1 tbsp Lime Juice
1 dash Salt to taste
1/4 tsp Cumin Powder
1 cup freshCilantro, shredded
1/4 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp dried Oregano (or chopped fresh)
6 Blue corn Taco Shells
1/2 cup Canola Oil

Here is how you make Tilapia Fish Tacos with Lime Cabbage Slaw:

Heat the canola oil over medium heat. Pat the tilapia filets dry. Beat the egg into the milk. Dip the tilapia into the seasoning mix, the milk, and then seasoning mix again. When oil is hot, fry each tilapia about 2 minutes per side. (Don’t let it burn!) Set on paper towels to remove some oil. For the slaw: mix the cabbage, radishes, carrots, jalapeño, and green onions in a non-metal or non-plastic bowl. Mix the lime juice, mayonnaise, cumin, garlic powder, and oregano together, and pour over the vegetables. Stir, mixing until evenly coated. Mix in the fresh cilantro. Slice the fried fish into bite-size pieces. Fill each taco shell with fish, and top with slaw.
