I found this recipe here on spark and altered itbased on what I had on hand and my my family loved it!! It's full of protein and fiber, low in calories and uses an ingredient that I just happened to have on hand but had never actually tried....ranch style beans!

What Are The Ingredients For Ranch Cabbage Chilli Recipe?

The ingredients for Ranch Cabbage Chilli are:

1lb 93% Lean Ground turkey
1 small onion (i used half a large onion in mine)
1 clove garlic minced
1 large head of cabbage (the one i used was quite big)
3 cans petite diced tomatoes (i used italian seasoned)
3 oz tomato paste (half a little can)
2 cans Ranch Style Beans

Start with a 4 qt pan andbrown the turkey. When browned, add garlic and onion and cook it in with the meat for a few minutes. Chop up the cabbage in whatever sized pieces you like (i left mine in semi long strips) and add it to the pot. After allowing the mixture to cook for about 10 minutes (i put a lid on the pot) add tomatoes and paste and stir in real well. After this step let cook for about an hour stirring well. When it seems the cabbage is about half way done, add the beans and stir well. At this point i set the stove on low but not quite simmer and continued to stir for about 2 ours and when it was just about done i put the lid on and set to simmer until it was time to serve1
