1 PACK YEAST
1 CUP WARM WATER
1/4 C SUGAR

1 8 OZ PKG FIVE CHEESE ITALIAN BLEND
1 ONION, CHOPPED
1 GREEN PEPPER, CHOPPED
1 CAN HUNTS CHEESE AND GARLIC SAUCE


How Do I Make Calzone?

Here is how you make Calzone:

DOUGH: Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water; set aside. Blend flour and salt; add yeast/water mixture (adding more water gradually if needed) to form a soft dough. Knead LIGHTLY just until all ingredients are incorporated. Oil the inside of a mixing bowl, roll the dough inside the bowl until covered with oil. Let dough rest in bowl (covered with oiled plastic wrap) for 20 - 30 minutes - dough should double in size.FILLING: Meanwhile, in medium saucepan, brown and drain the sausage, then add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and pepperoni. Blend together. Add the sauce (just enough to cover the other ingredients, so it isn't soupy) and then the cheese. Cover and remove from heat. Preheat oven to 400Once dough has doubled, divide into 8 equal balls and roll each out to about 6" circle (size of a saucer). Cover half of the circle with the filling, fold over and pinch to seal (may also use a fork). Arrange the calzones on a lightly greased baking sheet.
