What Are The Ingredients For Kickin' Lemon Chicken Recipe?The ingredients for Kickin' Lemon Chicken are: 5 (4-5 oz) boneless chicken breasts, skin removed6 lemons, juiced (hold back 1 tbsp of pulp) 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/4 tsp thyme, dried, ground 1/5 tsp tarragon 1 tbsp garlic powder 1 tbsp onion powder 1 tsp salt dash, cayenne 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp seasoned salt 3 tsp Splenda Sugar Blend 3 tbsp honey 1 1/2 tsp corn starch How Do I Make Kickin' Lemon Chicken?Here is how you make Kickin' Lemon Chicken: Mix lemon juice, Splenda, salt (plain), black pepper, cayenne, cumin, tarragon, thyme, HALF the garlic powder, HALF the onion powder into a sealable container or storage bag-- seal and shake vigorously for approx. 20 seconds.Pour little over half the mixture into a small saucepan. Set aside. Put chicken breasts into container/bag, reseal, and shake for 20 more seconds. Store in refrigerator for 20 minutes.Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Put saucepan of remaining mixture on stove top/burner at Medium-High to High (depends on whether it is flameless or gas-- flameless needs to be higher). Stir in pulp and honey. Gradually add cornstarch while stirring. Bring to boil for 2 minutes while stirring constantly. Reduce heat (if High, to Med.-High, if Med.-High, then to Med.) and continue stirring for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool.Remove chicken from refrigerator and pour entire container's contents into casserole dish. Take seasoned salt, remaining garlic powder and onion powder, mix, and then sprinkle evenly across tops of chicken breasts-- do a gentle rub on breasts. Cover dish with aluminum foil tightly. Place in oven for 20 minutes.After 20 minutes, evenly drizzle most contents of saucepan onto breasts (do NOT pour too fast-- will wash off seasoning and run off into dish instead of settling on breasts) leaving a little sauce in saucepan. Place back into oven uncovered for 7 minutes. Remove chicken and drizzle the rest of sauce onto breasts. Place chicken back in oven for 3 minutes. Turn off oven.
