8 Iceberg lettuce leaves
500 grams pork mince (or chicken mince)
100 grams chestnuts thinly chopped
100 grams mushrooms (any type you want) thinly chopped
1 onion diced
2 tsp cornflour
2 cloves of garlic thinly chopped
2 tsp ginger crushed or chopped
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 chicken stock cube
1/2 cup of water

Hoisin Sauce to serve it with.


How Do I Make San Choy Bow?

Here is how you make San Choy Bow:

1) Heat a frying pan up with oil and add onions, ginger, garlic and fry for a couple minutes.2) Add the mince and fry until cooked and then add the chicken stock cube, cornflour and 1/2 cup of water, stiring through.3) Then add the chestnuts, mushrooms and soy sauce and simmer for 4-5 minutes.4) Serve up.... put a spoon of the mixture into a lettuce leaf and top with tsp of hoisin sauce, and eat :)Can be quite messy but really yummy to eat.
