How Do I Make Toasted Israeli Couscous with Parsley and Pine Nuts?

Here is how you make Toasted Israeli Couscous with Parsley and Pine Nuts:

Melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add pine nuts. Saute until golden brown (about 8 minutes). Put in a small bowl. In same pan melt remaining 4 tbsp butter. Add finely chopped shallots and saute until golden - about 10 minutes. Add couscous, bay leaves, and stir until couscous turns golden. Stir often - about 5minutes. Add chicken broth and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and let simmer until liquid is absorbed. Stir in parsley and pine nuts. Season with black pepper. Don't cut down on the butter!!!! It isn't that much per serving, but if you cut down on it, it looses it flavoring.
