3 oz (1/2 can) Tomato Paste
1/4 cup chopped green Bell Pepper
3/4 cup chopped raw onion or 1 large onion chopped

How Do I Make Creamy Paprika Goulash in the Crock Pot?

Here is how you make Creamy Paprika Goulash in the Crock Pot:

1. Trim any visible fat by hand. Leave no fat on the steak.2. Using a meat tenderizer (big hammer with bumps on the hitting end), pound the steaks on both sides. This breaks it down & will reduce your risk of tough bits. Do this even if you are using 'cube steaks' which have been run through a tenderizer already.3. Cut into bite sized (about 1") pieces)4. Add steak bites plus rest of ingredients, minus s&p and sour cream, to crock pot.5. Cook on low all day (6-8 hours). If home, give a stir once or twice just to keep meat submerged in the liquids (keeps it moist)6. 30 minutes before serving, stir in the sour cream. Add s&p to taste.7. Boil your favorite egg noodles as package directs & serve underneath the goulash mixture.Makes 6 very generous servings (or serve with a big side salad & it easily stretches to feed 8 or 9 adults).I haven't actually measured the servings - I just divide 'draw' a line in the pot with the serving spoon marking out 6 equal servings to keep it easy.**Nutritional content does include amounts for 1/2 cup of enriched egg noodles per serving. If using No Yolks or other type of pasta, your numbers will be slightly different.**Number of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user ACTUALSCALE.
