1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
3 scallions, chopped
8 oz cream cheese
1 cube (1/2 cup) butter, salted
1/2 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste

Here is how you make Creamy Bacon and Scallion Mashed Potatoes:

Place peeled and cut into large chunks potatoes in a large saucepan. Cover with cold water then set over medium high heat. Bring to boil, then reduce heat to maintain a simmer. Cook until the potatoes are tender about 15 minutes. Drain and return to the pot. Cut the bacon into 1 inch chunks. While potatoes are cooking, heat a large skillet to medium high heat. Add the bacon and cook until crisp, about 10 minutes. Use a slotted spoon to transfer the bacon to a paper towel to drain fat. Drain off all but 1 teaspoon of the bacon fat from the skillet. Return the skillet to the burner over low heat. Return the bacon to the skillet, then add the garlic powder and paprika. Heat for 1 minute, then remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the scallions and set aside. When the potatoes are cooked and drained, add the cream cheese, butter, and milk to the pot. Mash until creamy and mostly smooth.
