What Are The Ingredients For Easy Szechuan Recipe? The ingredients for Easy Szechuan are: 1TBL Cornstarch3TBL soy sauce 2 WHOLE chicken breasts (This would be 4 of what we refer to as a chicken breast) - skinless boneless and cut into 1/2 inch cubes 1TBL dry sherry 2tsp splenda 1tsp vinegar 1/4 cup peanut oil 1 tsp dried red pepper flakes (more or less depending on taste) 2 green onions with tops, sliced 1/2 tsp peeled and minced fresh ginger (I use about 1/4 tsp dried) 1/2 cup dry roasted UNSALTED peanuts How Do I Make Easy Szechuan? Here is how you make Easy Szechuan: Blend cornstarch and 1 TBL of the soy sauce in a bowl with the chicken and set aside.Mix remaining soy sauce, sherry, splenda and vinegar and det aside. Heat oil in uncovered wok at 375 degrees. When hot add red pepper flakes and stir fry until black (the longer you cook, the spicier they will be) - usu takes about 10 seconds. Then add in chicken and stir fry until done. (you can drain off extra oil at this step if you like). Add in onions, ginger and sauce. Stir fry a bit longer until sauce is thickened.Stir in peanuts at the end. If you transfer to a serving bowl and let sit for about 5 minutes, the flavors meld a bit. This tastes even better the next day!You could definitely cut on oil a bit to about 2 tbl and I dont think the recipe should suffer.Number of Servings: 4Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user JOEKNEE.What's The Nutritional Info For Easy Szechuan? The nutritional information for Easy Szechuan is:
