4 slices of bacon, diced
2 lbs of pork, cubed to 1/2" pecies
1 large onion, diced
1 cup dry white wine
4 cups sauerkraut drained and diced
4 Tbls sweet Hungarian paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
plain Greek yogurt for garnish


How Do I Make Hungarian Sauerkraut Goulash Szekely?

Here is how you make Hungarian Sauerkraut Goulash Szekely:

Makes 6 1-cup servings Saute bacon in large pot until crisp. Remove and drain on paper towel, set aside for garnish. Remove all but 2 T. of the bacon grease from the pot. Brown pork in bacon grease. Remove and set aside. Saute onions in same pot till tender. Deglaze pot with wine. Return meat to pot with kraut, paprika and black pepper. Stir and let simmer for an hour until pork is very tender.
