2 cups milk

Here is how you make G-Mom's Pan Gravy:

Start by measuring your pan drippings/fat. Add butter if you need more to make a cup full. Heat the fat to medium hot. Sprinkle the flour into the fat and stir as you add. Stop adding flour when all the fat is absorbed by flour and before the flour starts to clump. Salt and pepper a little. Lower heat and keep stirring. Cook about 2 minutes. Add milk steadily, whisking in thoroughly. Let simmer for about 5 minutes or until consistency is at desired thickness. Add more milk or water if needed and whisk in well. Cook until proper consistency is reached. Taste for salt and pepper and add if necessary.Serving Size:?Makes 8 quarter cup servings
