Place 2 cupsFlour and sugar in a medium mixing bowl. Add shortning. Using pastry blender cut shortning into flour mixture until mixed well and crumbly. Create a well in center of bowl and add milk. Stir ingredients until all is moistened well. Dough will be sticky. Place 1/3 cup flour onto flat surface. Pour dough onto flour. Add 1/3 cup flour to top pf dough. Need roughly 10-12 times or until dough loses its sticky texture. Roll dough out until about 1/4 inch thick. Using a glass or medium biscuit cutter, cut out biscuits. Repeat process until all dough is used.Place on a baking sheet and place in oven. Bake 20-25 mins until biscuits are a light golden color. Recipe yeilds about 22 medium sized biscuts.My family absoultly loves these and wont let me buy the store bought variety anymore.
