This is the stroganoff without the egg noodles. I like to vary my pasta, so I put this on rice, veggie pasta, fettucine or egg noodles. I usually use ground bison, but recently my local supermarket started carrying grassfed beef, so the grassfed beef is what the nutritional info is based on. What Are The Ingredients For Homemade Stroganoff Recipe?The ingredients for Homemade Stroganoff are: 1-2 lbs ground grassfed beef1 c Nonfat plain yogurt 1 can 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup 10 oz box frozen chopped spinach (or more!) 1 head garlic How Do I Make Homemade Stroganoff?Here is how you make Homemade Stroganoff: Feeds 8-10, depending on how hungry you are, and how much meat/spinach you add. The nutritional info is based on 8 to be conservative.Use at least 2 cloves of garlic, but really it's to taste. Cook the garlic until fragrant, add beef and spinach. I put a 10oz box in the ingredients, but use however much you want. I try to use as much as my pan will allow. Cook the beef until done. Add salt/pepper to taste. Add the mushroom soup and yogurt. Mix well. The sauce will be very thick. Add white wine or milk until you reach the desired consistency for the sauce. Cook until slight boil, or until everything is hot. Done!!
