Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
Green Bell Pepper, 1 cup Chopped
season meat how you like - salt, pepper, garlic powder, cumin


How Do I Make Lighter Mexican Lasagna?

Here is how you make Lighter Mexican Lasagna:

spray PAM in a pan and brown the turkey with the onion and peppers over medium heat. season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and cumin if you like. stir in beans when meat is done. spray a 9x13 with PAM and add 1/2 cup of sauce to bottom of pan. layer tortillas and meat/bean mixture and sauce. sprinkle some cheese on each layer leaving enough for a good topping layer. i use 4 tortillas on each layer. if you cut them all in half they fit in the pan better leaving the straight edge towards the outside of the pan and one in the center. if you like, top with black olives or green onions to make it pretty :) (not in calculation)bake at 350 till cheese is melty. enjoy. cut into 8 HUGE peices.Number of Servings: 8Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user MELNELO.
