1/2 c mixed bell, red, yellow and/or orange sweet peppers
1 Tbsp minced garlic
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1-1/2 tsp sage
2 tomatoes, cubed
1 Tbsp cilantro
8 oz can Hunts no salt added tomato sauce
1/2 tsp salt
3 c water
1 c dried lentils

Here is how you make Lentils:

Heat olive oil in pan. Cook peppers, garlic and onion until onion is translucent. Add black pepper and sage. Set aside. In pot, heat lentils and water until boiling. Add onion and pepper mix. Return to boiling. Add cilantro, tomatoes, salt and tomato sauce. Bring down to simmer with lid on for about 10 minutes or until lentils are tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
