Here is how you make PENNE WITH POWER MEATBALLS:

Set a large pot of salted water to boil for the noodles. In the microwave or on the stovetop, defrost the spinach and drain it well by pressing out the water with another bowl or your hands. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine the turkey, egg, 1/2 cup of the marinara sauce and the bread crumbs. In a very large skillet (use 2 if you don't have one that is at least 10 inches in diameter), bring the remaining marinara sauce to a low boil. Add the spinach to the meat mixture and combine thoroughly. With wet hands, form the meat mixture into 1 - 2 inch meatballs and add them to the sauce in the skillet. Once all the meatballs (it should make 15 - 20) are in the pan, cover the pan almost completely, leaving room for a little air to escape, and simmer the sauce. After 10 minutes, carefully flip the meatballs and partially cover the pan again. Cook the meatballs for 5-10 more minutes while the noodles cook. Meanwhile, cook the noodles until they are al dente and drain them. Top the noodles with the sauce and meatballs (cut a meatball first to make sure it is no longer pink in the middle) and serve it, topped with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
