What Are The Ingredients For Dad's Meatloaf Recipe?The ingredients for Dad's Meatloaf are: 1 lb ground beef1.5 cups oats 3 large eggs 1 can sliced mushrooms 1 medium size onion, chopped 3 tbs flour 1 can tomato sauce 1 cup brown sugar 1 bell pepper, chopped salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, and garlic powder (or minced garlic)--as wanted How Do I Make Dad's Meatloaf?Here is how you make Dad's Meatloaf: In large mixing bowl mix beef, oats, eggs, mushrooms, onion, flour, and bell pepper. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, garlic/garlic powder, and crushed red pepper as wanted. Add in 1/2 can tomato sauce and 3/4 cup brown sugar as well.Divide mixture into 2 greased loaf pans. Cook at 325 for 1 hour (cook times/temps may vary).While loaves are cooking, mix 1/2 can tomato sauce with 1/4 cup brown sugar. For a smoother texture you may want to add a small amount of honey as well.After 1 hour, remove pans from oven, carefully pour off liquid, and spoon tomato mixture over tops of loaves.
