What Are The Ingredients For My Mom's Meatloaf Recipe?The ingredients for My Mom's Meatloaf are: * 1 pckg meatloaf mix (beef, veal, pork), approximately 1 1/2 lb* 3/4 of a 15 oz can Hunt's tomato sauce (more or less as needed for proper consistency) * 1 1/3 c Quaker Oats (more or less as needed for proper consistency) * 1 medium onion, chopped * 1/2 a green pepper (more or less as you wish, but a MUST in this recipe) * About 8 shakes of Worcestershire Sauce--all over meat mixture * 1 tsp dry mustard * 1 large egg * salt and pepper to taste * About 1/2 c Heinz Ketchup How Do I Make My Mom's Meatloaf?Here is how you make My Mom's Meatloaf: 8 servings 1. Preheat oven to 350F.2. Dump all ingredients into a very large mixing bowl. Mix with large spoon--or with hands, but try not to handle too much. The mixture should be able to stand on its own, but have enough tomato sauce in it so that loaf will not be dry and enough oatmeal in it so loaf will not be too squooshy.3. Form loaf in meatloaf tin and squeeze ketchup thickly over entire top. Smooth with spatula.4. Cook in oven for about an hour. (Pour grease off halfway thru cooking unless you have a 2-piece meatloaf tin that catches grease underneath.)5.
