Dredge in 1 T flour. Sear on med. high heat in a heavy skillet, about 3 minutes on both sides. Remove from skillet and set aside. Reduce skillet with a dash of red wine. Sautee onions and sugar in olive oil in the same skillet for about 5 minutes or until tender. Add garlic and tomato paste until paste is brown. Add beef broth and wine. Cook for 2 minutes. Add steaks back to the skillet. Cover and bring to a boil. Add remaining salt and thyme leaves. Serve on cheesy toasts with a parmesan cheese and fresh parsley garnish. For Cheesy toasts:Heat oven to 400. Combine paprika and garlic with softened butter. Spread butter on each half of hamburger buns, then sprinkle with cheese. Toast until cheese is firm.
