What Are The Ingredients For Mama Pea's Jambalaya Recipe?The ingredients for Mama Pea's Jambalaya are: 4 chicken sausages, sliced1 cup bell pepper (any color), chopped 1 cup onion, chopped 1 cup celery, chopped 2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 teaspoon dried basil 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1 teaspoon dried parsley i 15-ounce can fire-roasted tomatoes 1 cup vegetable broth 3 cups cooked brown rice or quinoa (Not included in nutrition facts) salt and pepper to taste How Do I Make Mama Pea's Jambalaya?Here is how you make Mama Pea's Jambalaya: 1) Spray a large skillet with cooking spray and place over medium-high heat.2) Add sausages and cook until beginning to brown, approximately 5 minutes.3) Add peppers, onions and celery and cook until vegetables are crisp tender, about 7 minutes.4) Add garlic, basil, oregano and parsley and saute for an additional minute. Add tomatoes with juices and broth and bring to a low boil, then lower heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.5) Add cooked rice or quinoa (again, I didn't use it, but you can)and allow to absorb sauce and flavors, stirring and cooking for an additional 5 to 10 minutes. If you didn't use rice/quinoa, continue to simmer for 10 minutes covered.
