Slice vegetables as desired. Into large cast iron skillet pour 2-3 swirls of Olive Oil. Add meat in small batches and saute till nicely brown. Remove to Dutch oven. Repeat until all the meat has been browned. Next add vegetables and saute over low to medium heat till limp. Add the 1 can tomato sauce, 1 can consomme, 1 tsp. teriyaki sauce, 1 tsp brown sugar, and seasonings. Pour into dutch oven and mix with the steak. Cover and place in a 350 oven. Cook for 2 hours till meat is fork tender. Remove from oven and stir in cornstarch that has been dissolved in cold water. Place dutch oven on stove burner over medium heat. Heat till bubbling and corn starch has thickened the sauce. Cook for about 5 minutes more. remove from heat. Serve over brown rice that has been cooked according to package directions. * May add Cholula Hot Sauce if you desire to spice it up a bit.
