1/2 cups crisco
2 cups flour - sifted
1 rounded teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Milk to make a soft dough (3/4 cup approximately)


How Do I Make Biscuit Pie Crust?

Here is how you make Biscuit Pie Crust:

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together into mixing bowl. Add Crisco and mix with a pastry mixer. Add milk to make a soft dough. Should be slightly sticky. (recipe is calculated for 2% milk) Split dough into 2 even balls. Roll out pie crust for 8 inch pie pan (I usually use a glass pan). Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Take roasted Turkey or Chicken and break into peices. Add meat and gravy into pie crust. Gravy is for moisture in the pie. Roll out 2nd crust, cut vent holes and place on top of pie pan and filling. Wet the edges of the bottom crust and seal either by crimping or using a fork and remove excess from edge. Bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
