Here is how you make Mexicali Pie:

Brown venison in skillet with oil, garlic, onion, celery and salt. When meat is brown, add chilies, oregano, cumin, catsup and water. Simmer 10 minutes. Put meat mixture into shallow baking dish, sprinkle cheese over meat and spread mashed potatoes on top. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
