What Are The Ingredients For Shepher's Pie Recipe?The ingredients for Shepher's Pie are: 2 lbs potatoes peeled and cubed2 tbsp low fat sour cream 1 egg 1/2 c. 2% milk 1 lb ground beef 85% lean 3 carrots, peeled and chopped 2 cups chopped mushrooms 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tbsp butter 2 tbsp flour 1 c beef broth 2 tsp worcestershire sauce 1/2 cup frozen peas 1/2 cup frozen corn 1 tsp paprika 1/2 tsp dried tarragon How Do I Make Shepher's Pie?Here is how you make Shepher's Pie: preheat oven to broilBoil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and pour into a bowl. Add sour cream, egg and milk and mash. Add salt and pepper here if desired.While potatoes boil, preheat skillet and add beef and brown. Drain beef, add carrot, onion and garlic. Cook veggies until tender, about 5-10 minutes. Add mushrooms at the end and cook until juicy.While veggies are cooking, melt butter in a small saucepan, melt 2 tbsp of butter and add flour. Stir 1 minute then whisk in beef broth and worcestershire sauce. Heat until just boiling (first bubble), then pour onto meat and veggiesAdd Peas and Corn to the mixture and stir until they heat up (a minute or two).Pour beef mixture into small casserole and top with potatoes. Sprinkle paprika and tarragon.
