What Are The Ingredients For Slippery Pot Pie Recipe?The ingredients for Slippery Pot Pie are: 1.5 cups of turkey4 cups of turkey broth or stock 1 cup potato chunks 2 Tb dried parsley 1 small egg 1.5 cups of flour 1tsp baking powder dash of salt 1/2 cup milk 1/2 Tb shortening pepper to taste How Do I Make Slippery Pot Pie?Here is how you make Slippery Pot Pie: Boil the potato chunks in the broth until cooked. While the potato is cooking, make the slippery noodles.In a mixing bowl beat the egg. Add flour, baking powder, salt, milk, shortening and mix into a stiff dough. Roll out the dough to 1/8 inch thickness, like a pie crust. Cut the dough into 2x2 inch noodles.After the potatoes are cooked, add the meat and parsley to the pot. Return the broth to a simmer. Drop the noodles into the broth a few at a time, being careful that they don't stick to each other. As the noodles become cooked, add more to the pot. Repeat this until all noodles have been added. Once all noodles are in the pot, cover and simmer 10-15 minutes until noodles are cooked and flavors are combined.When done, the broth should have a cloudy appearance, and resemble a thin gravy. Serve on a plate and sprinkle on pepper as desired.
