Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Slice potato and carrot into thin slices. Set aside. Add one yellow onion slice. With aluminum foil, get a long enough piece of foil to hold all ingredients. Put all vegetables in center of foil. Add butter and salt and pepper. Put porck chops on top and wrap foil up on top as to create a tent so that butter won't seep out too much.
