1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese


How Do I Make Smashed Potato?

Here is how you make Smashed Potato:

1. Wash and then pierce the skin of the potato at several points with a fork all around the potato.2. Cook on high for 4 to 5 minutes in the microwave. Test by inserting fork to make sure it is fully cooked.3. Place the potato in a bowl and pour the olive oil over top. Roll the potato around to evenly coat it.4. Cut a cross into the potato, not very deep, just to break the skin.5. Put the potato on a small baking pan and mash the potato down by pressing it down with a potato masher to squish it and make it spread out. (Don't over mash it; it should remain in one piece. Pressing it down once should suffice.)6. Sprinkle the garlic salt over the potato. (Add any other spices you might like, or just plain salt and pepper.)7. Place butter on top and sprinkle parmesan cheese over it.8.
