Heat oil in saucepan, add onion, and 1 tab. cumin seeds. Stir together; cook until onions are creamy and golden.Add chopped cilantro stalks, turmeric, salt and chopped jalapeno. Stir in tomatoes, ginger and garlic. Add potatoes, and cauliflower, plus 2 tabs. water.Cover and cook until potatoes are done about 20 min., add 2 tsp. garam masala, and stir.
