What Are The Ingredients For Beefed Up Ramen Recipe? The ingredients for Beefed Up Ramen are: 1lb ground beef5 packages of ramen - beef, oriental, and chili are the best flavors I've found 1/2 package of frozen broccoli - you can add other frozen veggies, but this works for our family How Do I Make Beefed Up Ramen? Here is how you make Beefed Up Ramen: *If you need to thaw your ground beef, put it in the fridge in the morning*1. Put a pot of water on to boil - Use a large pot because you'll be using this to cook both the broccoli and the ramen. 2. Once water is boiling, add broccoli and one ramen seasoning and cook according to package directions. While you're waiting on the water to boil, continue to step 4.3. Once broccoli has about 3 minutes left, add all ramen noodles and the final seasoning packets.4. In a large skillet, brown ground beef. Once thoroughly cooked, drain any excess oil. Add one packet of ramen seasoning (I prefer chili here) and mix it with the beef. Set aside.5. Once the ramen and broccoli are done cooking, drain about half of the excess water and add in the beef. Mix it all together and serve.*This is a great meal for nights where a kid wants to cook. It's simple, kids love it, and even a 10 year old can cook it with very little assistance.* You can use a lower fat meat, especially turkey, and this will cut some calories and fat from your meal.* These proportions feed 3 teenagers and 2 adults, with enough left over for 1-2 lunches tomorrow.* Experiment with other frozen veggies. Carrots and corn would be good as well, just find things that your family will eat.Serving Size: Makes 5 large bowls of soup, great for a bunch of hungry teens. A half portion fills me up though.Number of Servings: 5Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user E27JUNEBUG.What's The Nutritional Info For Beefed Up Ramen? The nutritional information for Beefed Up Ramen is:
