What Are The Ingredients For String Beans and Rice Recipe?

The ingredients for String Beans and Rice are:

1 pound of beef round steak cut into 1 inch pieces
1 Tbsp. Canola oil
1 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
2 pounds of frozen cut green beans
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 large can tomato paste
1/4 tsp. allspice
Salt
Pepper

2 cups of white long grain rice
1/4 cup of vermicelli
1 Tbsp. butter


How Do I Make String Beans and Rice?

Here is how you make String Beans and Rice:

Heat oil in large saute pan. Brown meat with garlic and freshly ground pepper. Once meat is browned add 2 lbs of frozen green beans. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. When partly done add two cans of diced tomatoes and lg. can of tomato paste. Stir to combine. Sprinkle with 1/4 tsp of Allspice, salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.Meanwhile melt butter in seperate saute pan. Break up vermicelli and brown in butter. Wash 2 cups of rice in a fine strainer. Add to browned spaghetti cover and leave alone for 10 minutes. Then pour boiling water just covering rice mixture. Re-cover pan and continue cooking on low for 15 minutes.
