9-10 cups whole wheat flour
3 tbls. dry yeast
1/2 cup powdered milk
3 cups warm water
2/3 cup canola oil
1/2 cup honey
4 large eggs
4 tsp salt


How Do I Make Feather Rolls?

Here is how you make Feather Rolls:

Combine 5 cups flour, yeast and powdered milk. Add water, oil and honey. Mix until well blended. Cover bowl and allow to sit for 10 minutes. Add eggs and salt and mix well. Add remaining flour 1 cup at a time until dough is soft, and only slightly sticky. (This all works best with a mixer, but can be done by hand). Dough may be used immediately, or kept in the refrigerator for several days. Lightly oil hands and counter top. Shape dough into rolls by rolling balls of dough in your hands to shape it into round balls. Place on greased cookie sheets. Let rise until very light. Bake at 350 for 18-20 min.
