Cook macaroni in a pot of boiling water for about 15 minnutes.In a saucepan, heat olive oil and cook onion until it has a golden color. Add mushrooms to the onions and continue cooking. Put heat on low and add in the tomato sauce. Add spices (salt, pepper, oregano, parsley, etc.) Bring to a slow boil. Turn off heat.Drain macaroni and add to the sauce.
