3 cans of Black Beans (I use the low-sodium kind)
1 tbsp Olive Oil
3/4 cup chopped Onions
1 cup Salsa
Juice of 1 Lime

Here is how you make Heather's Black Bean Soup:

Heat olive oil in a sauce pan and add the onions and cumin. Cook over medium heat until the onions are tender.Prepare the soup stock. Dissolve bouillon in about a cup of hot water, put into blender. (Or, if you're going to use something else as your stock, put it into blender.) Add 1 can of the black beans, syrup and all, to the blender and puree. Rinse and drain the other two cans of beans.Add the stock to your sauce pan. Add the remaining beans, salsa, and lime juice. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
