The ingredients for Sausage and Bean Soup are:

8 oz turkey linguica chopped
1 large onion chopped
2 stalks celery chopped
1 can chick peas
1 can kidney beans
1 can black beans
1 can crushed tomato
2 cups chicken or beef broth
oregano 1/2 - 1 tsp
salt and pepper to taste
3 cloves garlic crushed
1 can of spinach (can sub frozen which has been thawed and liquid squeezed out.


How Do I Make Sausage and Bean Soup?

Here is how you make Sausage and Bean Soup:

heat oil in Dutch oven over medium heat. Chop celery and onions and saute in oil until softened. Meanwhile puree the drained can of chick peas w/ small amount of crushed tomatoes in a food processor till smooth. Mix into sauteed vegs along with remainder of tomatoes, oregano,garlic, linguica and broth. Bring to a boil, cover and lower to a simmer for at least 30 mins.
