Preheat a large dutch oven. Add sausage and red pepper flakes and brown until the sausage is completely cooked. Remove the sausage from the pot and set aside to drain.Add onion, garlic, and bacon to the pot. Stirring occasionally, cook until the onion is translucent, about 10 minutes.Add the water, potato, and boullion cubes and bring to a boil.
