Cook thevegetables over high heat, until they are slightlygolden, about 4 minutes,stirring occasionally. Deglaze the pan with thered wine and reduce the liquidby half. Add the stock, bring to a simmer, andcover the pan. Cook at asimmer, covered, for about 8 minutes, or until allthe vegetables are tender;add more stock as necessary to keep thevegetables covered.
