2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger (1/8 tsp ground)
1/2 tsp dried thyme
3/4 tsp allspice, ground

Here is how you make Squash Takira:

Peel and remove seeds from the winter squash/pumpkin and cut into approx. 1-inch chunks. Steam squash until soft. In a heated frying pan, put the oil and saute the allspice, garlic and ginger (could add green onions) for 2 minutes until it smells wicked. Stir, breaking up the chunks. Add the thyme and continue to stir. The finished consistency is like guacamole maybe a bit looser, not totally smooth, but chunks mashed down.
