Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Cut the squash in half lengthwise. Scrape out the seeds with a metal spoon. Discard the seeds. Drizzle each half with the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Place the squash on the prepared baking sheet, cut side down. Cook for about 30 minutes or until fork tender.
