How Do I Make Johnny's Salisbury Steaks?

Here is how you make Johnny's Salisbury Steaks:

Heat oven to 350. Cook onion in margarine until light brown and soft. Set aside. IN large bowl beat egg and 1/3 c of soup together. Add bread crumbs, salt and cheese, mix and let stand 5 min. Add cooked onion and ground beef to bread crumb mix and mix well. Shape into six equal patties about 1/2 thick. Arrange in shallow pan. Bake 30 minutes, drain any excess fat.
