celery, 1-2 stalks, sliced or chopped
Chicken broth, 1 cup
2 cups apple cider, cloudy type
1 green pepper, chopped
3 potatoes, cut up
1 bay leave, whole
oil to brown meat
1 tbsp cornstarch


How Do I Make Cider Meat Stew?

Here is how you make Cider Meat Stew:

Saute garlic and onions in olive oil in a duth oven type pan. When onions are translucent, add the beef and pork. After meat is browned, add chicken broth, apple cider, turnips, carrots, celery,salt, pepper and bay leave. Bring to boil, lower heat to simmer, Let simmer for 2 hours. Take the 1 tbsp cornstarch, stir in about 1/2 cup water. When smooth add to stew. Add potatoes and green pepper, simmer another 1 hour before serving.Optional, leave out potatoes.
