Spray Oil How Do I Make Stew for Two?Here is how you make Stew for Two: In small bowl, mix flour & seasoning together. Add cubed beef and toss to coat.Spray pan with oil and brown the beef on all sides. Add to crockpot.Add cubed potato, carrot, onion, garlic, soup, water, wine/worcester if using, chopped mushrooms and bay leaf to crock, cover and set on low for 6-8 hours. Add frozen veggies for last 2 hours of cook time.If making on stovetop, put all ingredients except frozen veggies and potato in pot, simmer, covered, on low flame for 2 hours, add frozen veggies and potato last half hour of cook time.Makes 2 nice size portions - serve with a whole grain roll to sop up the gravey and you've got a warm, comforting dinner for 2 under 500 calories.
