1 pound extra lean ground beef or slivered sirloin steak
1 TB olive oil
1/2 pound portabella mushrooms, sliced
1 medium onion (1/2 cup) minced
1 can low sodium beef broth
2 TB organic ketchup
2 cloves minced garlic
3 TB Wondra flour (for making gravies)
1 cup low fat sour cream
4 cups cooked whole wheat blend noodles


How Do I Make Classic Stroganoff?

Here is how you make Classic Stroganoff:

Add oil to large skillet and saute onions and mushrooms until tender. Remove from skillet. In same skillet brown meat until lightly browned, drain any fat. Reserving 1/3 cup broth add remaining broth, ketchup and garlic. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Blend reserved broth and flour. Stir into meat and add mushrooms and onions. Heat and boil 1 minute.
