2-3 tbsp dried thyme
lemon wedges (2 lemons)
1 large container low fat sour cream

Here is how you make Turkish Peasant's Dish:

chop onions and brown in olive oil. add garlic, brown 1-2 minutes and set asidechop spinach into small piecesbrown ground beefin a stew pot, combine beef, onions, rice, thyme, chicken broth and spinach. (i find the more thyme, the better. i'm not afraid to use QUITE a lot.) add salt to taste, and stir it all up good.bring to a boil, then let simmer until rice is cooked (about 20 minutes). you may need to add water or broth during this time.serve with lemon wedges and a dollop of sour cream. serves 6-8Number of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user BEEREYNOLDS.
