Add lentils and vegetable broth in a large pan. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce to low heat and simmer for 40 minutes.2. Fry onion, carrot and celery in oil until soft. Add mushrooms and garlic fry till soft. Add mixed spices, fry for few seconds then add tsp of water to prevent paprika becoming bitter.3. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.4. Press mixture into greased 8 x 8 and pan.5. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.I usually slice this out of the pan and serve like brownies, or use a big spoon.
