What Are The Ingredients For Vegetable Lo Mein Recipe?The ingredients for Vegetable Lo Mein are: 1 head broccoli cut into florets OR 1 lb. fresh snow peas (can use frozen)1 can baby corn, water chestnuts, or sprouts 1 pkg white mushrooms, sliced about 4 green onions about 3-4 stalks celery with leaves if poss. 1 large bell pepper (red is prettiest) 6 oz. whole wheat thin spaghetti 2 tbsp canola oil 1/2 cup broth or boullion 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 tbsp corn starch How Do I Make Vegetable Lo Mein?Here is how you make Vegetable Lo Mein: Cook spaghetti according to directions; drain and keep warm (I just put it back in the pot and put the lid on).In a large wok or skillet, saute the mushrooms in 1 tbsp oil until tender, about 4-5 minutes. Add mushrooms to spaghetti pot.Put the remaining tbsp oil in skillet and add the rest of the vegetables. Saute 8-10 minutes until crisp tender. Meanwhile, mix the corn starch with the soy sauce and broth, and stir well until dissolved.Once veggies are done, add the broth mixture to the pan. Stir until bubbling and thickened.Add mushrooms and spaghetti back to the wok and heat through.Makes 4 servings.You can mix and match ANY vegetables you have on hand or just happen to like.
